Login with your library card and PIN, or if you do not have a library card click the gold First Time User button to create a guest printing account and pin. Complete step-by-step instructions are listed below, if needed.

SMARTALEC WEB PRINT WELCOME SCREEN

Access the SmartAlec website from the Welcome Screen by entering your library card number and Password (PIN), or click [First Time User].

 

FIRST TIME USERS

On the next screen, First Time Users will encounter several fields.  The Card # field will have an automatically generated guest card number in it. The PIN field and the Repeat PIN field are required. Any numeric PIN can be used.  The Email field OR the Phone field are also required for New/Guest users. If you use email, you will receive an email message and be able to login using your email address or the 14 digit account number and PIN. If you enter your phone you will receive a text message and be able to login using the 14 digit account number and PIN. Click [Submit] and a confirmation message will display when the account is created.  The ID and PIN will be sent to you either via Email or Text message.   

After successful login as a Cardholder or new First Time User the Account Info screen will display.

UPLOAD DOCUMENTS

Users have several mechanisms they can use to Upload Documents:

1. 1. 1. From a file saved on the device
      2. From a Web Page using URL
      3. Via Email Attachment
      4. From Google Drive

  The first choice is the most common. Choose the files you wish to print from the list and click the Upload button.   Once you have uploaded your documents, the files will be added to the list.     The final step is to go to the Print Release Station to release and print any document that appears in your Document list.
